NORMA GO places a NORMA cell counter in your laboratory — no purchase, no lease, no minimum order. What we ask in return is short, and none of it is a purchase commitment.

Applying requires no measurement data — you simply tell us whether you agree to share your data during the program. Agreeing is not a condition, but places are limited and it counts in favour of your application. Data shared during the program is never passed on to third parties, is used only in anonymised form, internally, to improve our products and services, and can be deleted at your request at any time.

Strong agreement with the trypan blue reference, with high single-cell matching accuracy maintained across a wide range of conditions and cell types. Optical parameters from holographic imaging — including phase shift and light absorption — reliably reflect the intracellular content linked to viability, which is why the correlation holds up so consistently.

Consumables, explained
Slides come in three chamber depths — 20, 30 and 100 µm — matched to your concentration range, four samples per slide. Program terms apply throughout, and there is no minimum quantity to order.
Eligibility
Is NORMA GO a fit for your laboratory?
Places are limited, so the criteria are stated plainly. You can tell in a few seconds whether the program is built for your situation.

- Your laboratory counts cells at least weekly, as part of routine work.
- A named person will be responsible for the instrument and reachable for follow-up.
- You agree to share your data during the program — not a condition, but it counts in your favour.
- Your organisation is a laboratory, biotech, pharmaceutical company, CRO or academic group.
✕The program is less suited if
- Your counting need is occasional rather than part of a routine.
- Your samples sit outside the concentration range the system covers — 10⁴ to 4·10⁷ cells/mL.
- No one in the team is available for the onboarding session.
- Adopting a new counting method in your laboratory depends on an approval you do not control.
- Your country is outside the served territories for delivery and support.

Is the instrument really free?
There is no purchase price, no capital investment and no minimum order. The program is sustained by the consumables you use once the system is in routine — which only happens if it earns its place in your laboratory. That is the bet we are making.
How long does the program last for each laboratory?
The participation period is to be confirmed. Follow-up points are set at 30, 90 and 180 days from delivery.
What happens if we stop using it?
We will get in touch to understand what is blocking — most often it is a method or application question we can work through together. If the system genuinely has no place in your laboratory, we arrange for its return, so that another team can benefit from it.
Do we need to install anything?
No. The only thing that travels is the compact, robust, plug-and-play instrument — and it arrives configured. There is no lens to align, no calibration procedure and no engineer visit: unbox it, plug it in, count. The onboarding session is about your samples and your protocol, not about setting up hardware.
Can several laboratories in the same organisation apply?
Yes, but each application is assessed separately and on its own counting activity. Places are allocated per laboratory, not per company.
What happens to the data we share during the program?
When you apply, you submit no measurement data — you only tell us whether you agree to share your data during the program. If you do, the data shared during the program is never passed on to third parties and is used only in anonymised form, internally, to improve our products and services. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time. The information in your application form is used solely to assess your application and to contact you about the program.
